She went to the gym and staged a run-in with Daphne Parrish, the wife of a millionaire who runs his own international corporation. It seems apt (or maybe even ironic) then that I enjoyed about half this book.

We read Amber’s POV first and then Daphne’s.

"The Last Mrs. Parrish", by two sisters who write under the name, Liv Constantine, is exactly the transition novel I needed this week (it will make an excellent travel/holiday novel and eventually a film)! Liv Constantine's The Last Mrs. Parrish is a beautifully constructed set piece, an intricate narrative that doubles back and folds in on itself like a Mobius strip, revealing secret upon secret, and layer upon layer, with a seductive 'just one more chapter' urgency that will keep readers up all night. I like to think of myself as a very critical writer. Amber has a plan and she is determined to get what she wants.
