After the draw for Round 3 and Round 4 came out, the fixtures for Origin 2020 were announced. State of Origin is set to be played following the Grand Final. Updated 15th May 2020 – The 2020 State of Origin series has been rescheduled for November due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 2020 State of Origin dates locked in The NSW Blues, coached by Brad Fittler and Queensland Maroons, led by Kevin Walters, will face off in one fortnight in November. Both State of Origin and Australia’s Twenty20 World Cup matches on home soil are on that list. Adelaide Oval is set to host Game 1 of the 2020 State of Origin series after the dates and venues for next year were officially confirmed. That has however not been followed in the past, with Nine showing last year’s Ashes on Gem. “Today is a landmark day for rugby league in 2020,” Mr V’landys said.
