EASTENDERS fans have predicted that Nancy Carter could return to Albert Square after actress Maddy Hill left her role in Casualty.

EastEnders fans are hoping that Nancy Carter may be set to return to the soap and rejoin parents Mick and Linda (Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright) now that Maddy Hill has left her role as Casualty. Tonight's episode of Casualty focused primarily on new paramedic Ruby Sparks, portrayed by Maddy Hill, 28, who played Nancy Carter in EastEnders. And while teasers of the show previously revealed Holby ED's newest recruit would have a bad first day, nothing could have prepared fans for the drama that awaited.

Prior to her role as Ruby she played Mick and Linda's daughter, Nancy Carter, on EastEnders. Before her soap role, Maddy had appeared in detective drama Whitechapel and after leaving Albert Square, she spent time starring in the title role of Imogen at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and as a contestant on The Great Sport Relief Bake Off. Maddy, 29, shot to fame playing the tomboy daughter of Mick and Li… Maddy Hill is a 28-year-old actor from London who made her name as one of the Carter family in EastEnders, playing daughter Nancy from 2014 to 2016. Maddy joined the Casualty cast full time in 2018.
